What Custom Cabinets Look Like in a Huntington Beach House
Most homes here were framed between 1960 and 1990, and almost none of them have square corners or a wall that runs true from end to end. Stock cabinets arrive in fixed widths, so a stock kitchen leaves filler strips at both ends and gives up storage at every obstacle. Custom cabinetry is drawn from the measurements of your actual room, which is why a custom run reaches the wall, clears the window trim and uses the awkward corner instead of boxing it off. The photographs below are kitchens, baths and garages we have finished for owners across the city.

How a Cabinet Project Runs, From First Visit to Final Hinge
A cabinet job is four stages and roughly eight to fourteen weeks from the opening visit to the last door. Knowing which stage you are in is the difference between a remodel that feels managed and one that feels like waiting. Here is the whole sequence, with what you do at each point and what we do.
-
Consultation
We come to the house, measure the room, look at what is failing and ask what you need to store. No charge, no sales script.
-
Design
Before we build, you see elevations with the exact dimensions on them, the door and finish you picked, and a price in writing. Revise it as often as you like.
-
Build
Boxes and fronts get cut to your numbers, sprayed in the finish room, then left to cure on the rack until delivery day.
-
Install
We set the run level, scribe it to walls that are never straight, hang the doors and tune every hinge before we leave.
Materials and finishes
The Materials That Actually Hold Up in a Beach Town
Salt air is hard on cabinetry, and it is hardest on the parts nobody looks at. Damp air swells particleboard and rusts plated hinges long before it does anything visible to a door. That is why the boxes we build start as plywood rather than particleboard, why the hinges and slides we hang them on are stainless or coated for coastal service, and why the finish is sprayed and cured indoors at the shop instead of brushed on in your kitchen. Those three choices cost more up front and are the reason a cabinet run here still closes properly fifteen years later. Ask to see samples at the consultation, and ask what is behind the door as well as on it.

Where We Work in Orange County
Huntington Beach is home, and the service area follows the coastal stretch of Orange County around it. Each town on this list has its own page, because the housing stock is genuinely different from one to the next and so is the work. A Newport Beach waterfront build and a Westminster refacing job share almost nothing except the trade. If your town is not on the list below, phone us. What settles that is the size of the job and the number of install days, never a circle on a map.
Cabinet makers work county wide here. The Orange County service area page explains what that means for scheduling and for price.
